Streets of India
Welcome to one of the marvels of this rock we call home - the country of India! In the fall of 2011 I had the remarkable opportunity to “get lost” for almost three months in India. My journey encompassed the surreal environments in Rajasthan, the tranquillity of the Himal foothills around Rishikesh, the urban development both the ancient Varanasi and modern cities of New Delhi and Kolkata. Ending up in Goa, a beach side area that for 450 years flew the flag of Portugal. It was through my travels with backpack and camera in tow that I was at times overwhelmed by the sheer wonder of life that unfolded before me. Within a mere city block a person can witness an astounding range of humanity; a humanity that can be both beautiful and yet sometimes raw.

This body of work is a glimpse into the wide diversity of color, light and the abundance of life to be found (both the “good” and “bad” sides).
These images are part of my presentation "The Streets of India". Please contact me directly for details on this show or any other of my travel presentations. Enjoy....
